The Torturous Battle of a Stubborn Stomach While Camping
I’m traveling and haven’t managed to poop in days, plus I haven’t been drinking enough water. The result is a massive, dry, clumped-up stool. I’m constantly bloated, with trapped gas that can’t escape. Finally, after a long wait, I feel the urge building. The campsite is packed. Trying to act nonchalant, I slip into the crowded toilet stall with my camera gear and settle onto the seat. Women in the next stall chatter the whole time. Squatting and straining, I push with all my might. The stool barely edges out, painfully stuck. All I can do is relax and take it slow. I secretly hope the girls next door don’t smell my monstrous log poking out... Or maybe I hope they do. ;)
