A Late-Night Act of Submission
By nature, I lean toward submission—it’s my go-to state when I seek comfort or a shift in mindset. Yesterday was rough; anxiety overwhelmed me, and I craved an outlet. Without a clear plan, I ended up in the bathroom, where I found myself confronted by an intensely unpleasant odor. Feeling both disgusted and curious, I gave in to the moment and decided to taste it. What started as a fleeting impulse turned into something more—I consumed about a third of it before reality pulled me back. I hurriedly cleaned up and resumed my day, but that private, unexpected act left me feeling oddly centered. Sometimes, you have to take charge of your own release, even in the most unconventional ways.
