A Bitter Feast: The Slave’s Ordeal - Part 2
Stuffed to the point of discomfort, the trembling slave timidly pleads with his displeased mistresses to leave the remnants of his unappetizing meal. Enraged by his audacity, the mistresses unleash their fury, mercilessly whipping and beating the hapless servant until he collapses into a quivering heap, begging to finish his plate. With cruel amusement, the mistresses exchange smug glances before handing the leftovers back to the broken slave. Forcing himself to swallow every last bite, the slave offers profuse gratitude for the meal. As a “reward,” the mistresses present him with a fresh bowl of pungent soup to complement his feast. Eager to please, the slave gulps down the warm liquid, though clumsy spills draw immediate punishment. One mistress strikes him sharply, causing the bowl to crash to the floor. Humiliated, the slave is then ordered to lap up every spilled drop from the ground, a fitting punishment for his “carelessness.”
