Latex, rubber and leather — dressing rituals, restriction and the shine that comes with it.

Gear is the subject in these clips rather than a costume detail. Latex changes how a scene looks and how it behaves: it shines under the lights, it holds heat, and getting into it is slow enough to be a scene of its own. Leather is the older, heavier counterpart — corsets, harnesses, gloves, tall boots and straps that creak and restrict the way the wearer moves.

That is why so much of the category is really about preparation. Zipping someone into a catsuit, lacing a corset, pulling on gloves, polishing and inspecting the result: the ritual matters as much as whatever follows. Rubber in particular makes performers move differently, with smaller steps, more deliberate gestures, and visible sweat and condensation.
